Sorry you are on your sickbed today annasixty I hope you soon feel considerably better
.
I am a brand new and younger GP - 52! I don't feel 'old', but sometimes a bit wearied by life
.
My past ten years:
Death of daughter 2006
New career path for me 2007
Death of mum 2008
Met GH-to-be 2009
Death of dad 2010
Eldest DD married 2013
Married my DH 2014
Moved house after 13 years, 2014
Becamea granny! 2016
Change of job / career (? or perhaps just a low spot) 02.16
I suspect we all have quite a lot that we have had to work through / come to terms with if we look back over a ten year period and that there will be a mixture of sorrows and joys. I have definitely had times where I feel /I have had to survive rather than live. For the present, these are relatively happier times for me despite job uncertainty. I have learned to be thankful for the moment. xx
What was directly across the road from the school you went to?
Good Morning Saturday 1st August 2026
Odd - weird and wonderful - almost unbelievable - or is it just me?
Has anyone else noticed their energy levels change as they've got older?

but I'm finding it harder and harder. I used to be a 10 (albeit a starving one) and although I'm still "only" a 12 I'm finding it hard to avoid getting lumps, bumps and a belly. I've got no waist, either.
. I've also noticed that overweight young people look a different shape to older people - I think it's also to do with muscle and skin degeneration. Heavy boobs at 20 are a lot firmer than heavy boobs at 60
