Christmas officially over...?

The tree and the decorations went up early so they have come down early - you should have seen the dust .... never mind the glitter ...LOL

Twelfth night here. Mind you - I have already had enough of the cards, so they will come down tomorrow, I think. Then I shall start eyeing up the 'miscellaneous' bits and bobs around the place and putting them all in one area. The trees and garlands however will stay up. Not my wish, I should add, but DS and DBH would have them up for much longer if allowed. We do keep the weeping cherry lights on until the end of February though, it brightens up the gloom outside and the little twins next door love it.

Mine come down on New Year's Eve so that I have a fresh start for the New Year.

It's strange, I didn't feel very Christmassy this year. I blame DH for not venturing back into the loft for the wreath it's one of the main reasons we bought a new front door

Mine's coming down tomorrow, then I can give the house a good clean and I'll be able to relax

Decorations are up until New Year's Day and then come down. I always consider that Christmas lasts from Christmas Eve until New Year's Day.

Decorations will come down more slowly this year because I slipped on some wet grass just before Christmas and I am not yet fully functional as my back is still aching and I am rather stiff.
