What are you having for dinner?

We've got belly pork in a chilli and pepper sauce (jar) with stir fried veg and noodles. Was watching Chinese visit on the news and fancied something oriental!

I love reading these threads as it gives me lots of ideas for yummy meals! Having left-over beef casserole cooked yesterday in slow -cooker. OH couldn't manage to eat after visit to the dentist (he had to survive on soup!) so no cooking needed today.

Chicken, leek and bacon pie. If I ever get up off my sit-upon and go and make the pastry.

We are having smoked cod poached, with new potatoes and broccoli just hate the smell of fish that lingers in the house.

Cold chicken marinated in a mustard and something ? sauce, salad, oven chips and a nice glass of wine left over from a lunch party yesterday. Followed by stuffed apple with mincemeat baked and low fat custard.

I like your style Kitty PJs, glass of wine in front of telly.

Beef casserole cooking in slow cooker to be transferred to pie dish and topped with pastry, with red cabbage and broccoli.

HildajenniJ, I lived in Hamilton for 9 years and I love haggis, so I envy you your meal today. And Lorne sausage! We don't get that "down south". Or Mothers Pride plain loaf, which makes the most divine toast in the world ...

We're having shepherd's pie with the very last of our runner beans tonight. Have picked up some lovely ideas from this thread, thank you very much ladies.

I made a (red) Thai chicken curry with the left over chicken from yesterday's Sunday Monday dinner and quite delicious it was too.

My mouth is watering, elegran , I can almost smell that sausage , there's nothing quite like it! Going "home" in a few weeks, I must bring some back with me. I might just have it in a "piece" !

Cod in a spicy yogurt sauce, boiled pots, green beans and carrots. Jam sponge pudding and custard.

Griddled salmon with 'free' Sainsbury's chili butter, lyonnaise potatoes, green beans stir fried with garlic and tomatoes! No pudding, we never have pudding!

Something light tonight. Cheese and ham omelettes and salad.

Pork steaks, jacket spuds, and frozen peas. Followed by blueberry and pear crumble and custard.

Prawn curry. I have been out for lunch and had a very thin pizza but DH went off to the seafront and had fish and chips. He is probably not hungry but my pizza was not very filling.

As I arrived home to discover cooker had packed up, it was a ham sandwich !!

Looks like nobody ate on Wednesday! We had sausage, mash and baked beans. Ate out last night at our favourite posh burger place where they serve delicious rosemary fries, yum.
No ideas for tonight yet.

Something from M&S tonight. It is Mum duties today. Her cleaner is off sick so I have to be cleaner this week. Will be too knackered to come home and cook after walking the dog as well! ,- DH recovering from his back jobby.

Tonight it will be smoked haddock with a poached egg on top and a few homemade chips. I must have been enjoying this meal for 65 years.
Tomorrow it is duck breasts with a cherry sauce, courtesy of M&S Dine in menu.

Sirloin steak marinated after it has been cooked a la Nigella! I can't remember it's fancy name but it's delicious! With rosemary and garlic oven wedges now that I have read Pitt's post and oven roasted cherry tomatoes! I think I am becoming addicted to cherry tomatoes.
