idly wondering what everyone else is eating. We are spag bol (from the freezer) and salad and then an apple crumble I found - at least I think it's an apple crumble...forgot to label it and have been caught out before

Following the news that bacon and sausage are to be avoided we are having a fry up!! DH said that he really needed bacon and sausage as he kept seeing them on tv! We rarely indulge so I'm going to spoil him! grin

Well, there's no hope for us then. We are having a bacon and sliced tomato sarnie for lunch, then beef steak for supper. See you!

DH is making spag. bol. (He cooks Mon to Fri and I do weekends.)

We eat a lot of ham for our 'soup & a sandwich' lunches so maybe we should change it to tuna, problem is I like mayo with my tuna but DH doesn't.

Salad with lunch tongue, new potatoes, coleslaw, and my OH also had pease pudding. To follow, a nice cup of tea and a "happy hippo".grin

We are having a large sausage roll with jacket potato and beans I really am going to try and make OH have less red/processed meat we'll start tomorrow.. trouble is he's not keen on chicken or fish, but I've told him he has to eat chicken and fish at least once a week from now on.

My eldest son is home for a couple of days and requested Lancashire tart..quiche when all said and done....but made with sliced onion, potato and crumbly lancashiire cheese. My fav cheese especially on toast with brown sauce. You can take the girl out of Lancashire etc....

Home made fish cakes made with smoked mackerel left overs, tinned pilchard, small cod fillet (poached), potatoes, oats (for crunch and to bind), beaten egg.

Will make a salad and steamed asparagus to accompany.

Aduki bean casserole with home-grown green beans and roasted pumpkin. It's getting chilly here, need the carbs.

Grandson here today so I made him stir fried chicken and vegetables with noodles. DH and I had macaroni cheese and a salad. I hate macaroni cheese and salad but he loves it, so it made up for the casserole I made him eat on Sunday! Now we're even.

Sausages, mash, beans warmed over caramelised onions and with some raisins and one chopped date (it was kicking about) mixed in with them, plus some carrots.
