Well I don't want to prick your balloon Indinana but I got mine on Thursday and I was also the very first to get one. And a very handsome piece of cardboard it is.

Not as special as me either. I got given one on Tuesday in store (being trialled exclusively in Wales apparently - why? The Welsh are no more gullible than the rest of the UK) and another one arrived in the post on Thursday!

I was so excited I put them in the bin by mistake!

Well I am so upset at actually NOT being the first and being treated as one of the "common herd" that I think I will have to consider cancelling my account.(stalks out seriously miffed)

Annsixty, I got mine on Thursday too, and was feeling rather superior until I read Rosequartz's post. Still, she had to actually go in there to be given it. I'm sticking with Fortnums I think. No silly gimmicks in there.

Well the postman has just been and I think I will just stay in bed today I am so miffed that I haven't got. M&S special card this morning. In protest I will buy my winter woollies and jeans elsewhere (oh, just remembered, I did) well, maybe I will go to BHS for some pants.

I got one when I went in our M % S foodhall yesterday- they were handing them out to all and sundry, not just us "special" people. I've registered it today and got a 20% discount to be used today. I did actually find a top I'd been waiting for, so was quite pleased.

I haven't got one! I was going to buy some jeans from them today as well.
I'll go and buy designer jeans instead. ( sniff)

Any recommendations? I'm an 18/20, 5'8" female with a long body and comparitvely short legs. ( sort of vertical dachshund IFYKWIM)

Indinana you only need a couple of shells and a grass skirt in the South Pacific, so no need for the M&S Sparks card
You could live on fish and coconut milk too, so no need for the M&S Food Hall

However, I am going to put in an official complaint (must fish them both out of the bin first) as I was told it was being trialled in Wales only and now I find we are not so special here after all.
