Soggy day here on South Downs, and car thermometer at 12c brrr.

Morning All

It's a wonderful sunny (if slightly soggy) morning here. The sort of morning you really want to go out and enjoy the countryside - if you weren't waiting in for a surveyor to come and hopefully shed light on the cause of the two leaks which have re-appeared in the new roof! The men are dillying around doing not a lot as they can't get on until the problem is solved. We keep having to remind ourselves why we started this!

Looking forward to the rain coming this afternoon to see what it reveals!

Good morning, lovely dry day here in the north east. It is autumn though because the trees are changing colour fast. DH and I had our flu injections yesterday and that means winter is not far off.

I was woken in the night by such a torrential downpour that I was expecting to wake up to a new flooded landscape this morning! So it was lovely to see a blue sky and sunshine greeting me when I got up .
I will be spending the day sewing - I'm making a stack of dribble bibs for my GD as she's just started teething. I've also just had a piece of PUL delivered - can't buy it anywhere in the area - so will be making a foldable changing pad for my DD's changing bag as the one that came with it was lamentably small and almost useless for anything other than a tiny newborn.

Good morning to you all, a little late this morning, had a bad night's sleep, the morning is so far quite bright, with rain promised, which might once again miss our little corner. Nothing exciting planned, probably couldn't stand that anyway, so enjoy your days.

Good morning from soggy Colchester. DH reckons the sun has gone South for the winter, perhaps I should follow it!

It's grey and overcast with ragged bits of fog still hanging around. Chilly too, but I have a cup of tea and hot buttered toast to cheer me up. Going for a nap after my 3am start. Housework this afternoon.
