Oh I'm glad dusty, as my friend is in caramujeira at the moment. It's been lovely all day in outer London, and we didn't get the forecast rain. Washing all drying. My mother would have had a fit at washing out on a Sunday.

Afternoon all. It sounds like most of the UK should be very grateful to those of you who have put your woollies and tee shirts away.

Summer seems to have returned to the Algarve too. We've had a week of cooler weather and some rain but yesterday and today have suddenly turned sunny and very warm again.

Good afternoon everyone from dull and cloudy Wiltshire- very foggy start followed by a brief brighter spell but now decidedly grey.
Apparently we could be having an Indian Summer for the next two or three weeks ........

Serves me right for packing summer clothes away before we went to Yorkshire - where the sun shone every day but one!

Definitely feeling unenthusiastic about going back to work tomorrow.....

A rather late good morning from the south coast, another lovely day forecast, and we are due to play in the last competition of the year at bowls ladies-v-men, should be enjoyable, I do not care who wins, just like the game. Had a successful knit-in yesterday afternoon, we managed to raise a little over £400. which was very acceptable for such a small group. Enjoy your days.

Good morning everyone. A lovely day here in South Yorkshire. My weekend visitors have just departed back to Wales and we are unwinding and revelling in the peace and quiet. It was nice to have the family all together - doesn't happen very often these days.

According to the forecast we are going to have an Indian summer lasting for 3 weeks!! Temperatures higher than normal and fine, dry, sunny days.
We shall see.

It's a bright but misty start in North Leicestershire. I've just remembered that it's my DSiL's birthday on Friday so I have to have a panic dash to the shops to buy her something and get it in the post!

A hazy autumnal sun here. There was thick mist rolling across the firelds as we drove home last night. Very spooky!

Hopefully off for a drift around the broad today. No wind here yet, so a bit of gentle paddling may be necessary.

I'd love Autumn if it weren't followed by winter.
