Good Morning WEdnesday

Good morning all. Wet and windy here this morning. We've already had three power cuts this morning. Not long ones....yet.

Good morning, it is a beautiful sunny day. DH and I are going to treat ourselves to lunch out, one of our favourite restaurants has just had a refurbishment.

I've been out checking stock, fences, waters etc. this morning and just having a sit down with a cuppa. It's not an idle time though, I'm going through our vinyl records, digitising them. The first batch is almost done, just single figures to go, second half is another 75.

The rain has now stopped and it's looking quite bright. Forecast says it's going to be a nice morning so the men are back to push on with getting some of the new roof on. They went home yesterday when rain stopped play, leaving us with a tarpaulin - which of course leaked. (DH very concerned about the real wood floor!).

Good morning everyone.
It is a beautiful sunny morning in Tynedale. When my DH and I went to work we were puzzled by a very bright object in the eastern sky. To begin with we thought it was a helicopter, but it was stationary. I have discovered that it is the planet Venus. It is the brightest I've ever seen it! Nothing much planned today. I will ring the care home and ask about Dad and may go to see him, if he is feeling better. They reported that he has a heavy cold. I don't want it, but hey ho.

Good morning to you all, very overcast and rain forecast for all day. I unfortunately overslept this morning, and the other half has a blood test appointment which we forgot about, so he is now rushing around, not good for blood pressure. I think he will make it on time. Staying indoors today, because it promises to be wet and brighter tomorrow.

Well, the sky here in W Devon looks as if it's trying to be blue, but it's not having much success. Heavy rain is forecast for later, so it might as well give up trying.
I have a hospital appointment this afternoon, so will doubtless be driving there in pouring rain and skipping through the puddles in the car park when I get there .

Morning 'all. I am half asleep - little boys here overnight and sleep was a bit intermittent. OH has taken one to school and I am sorting the other one out before nursery; then we have DGD for the day. I am feeling my age!!!

There has been a bit of rain overnight here in mid Essex and there is a thin cover of cloud. It started like this yesterday then brightened later so hope it will be the same today.

My bit of north Leicestershire has quite a pretty (and ominous?) pinkish sky. The forecast is for heavy rain just at school run time - why doesn't that surprise me?
