I did. Still love them but watch from the side-lines or watch dressage on Horse & Country. Dressage is on next Tuesday at 9pm, if interested.

Yes, as an early riser I'm quite happy with the clocks going back, but I do wish they went forward again as far from the spring equinox as we are now from the autumn one, ie just over a month. That would start our lighter evenings in February instead of March.

Yes a 'Frozen' fleecy jacket and a sparkly Minnie Mouse T shirt for two DGDs from the sale rail in Tesco. I always keep my eyes open for suitable clothes and gifts when they are reduced in price! (But I do have to make a list of what I have bought and keep in in my handbag or I forget!)

What is the worst gift you ever received? My ex once bought me long handled shears so I did not have to bend down to cut the edges of the grass. I was 7 months pregnant at the time - how thoughtful!!

Sensible. I wear Doc Martens "Air-Wear" shoes. When I was working I spent most of the day on my feet. One of my colleagues recommended Doc Martens shoes to me. Back then (1995 ish) they were expensive - about £80 per pair, but I soon discovered that for sheer comfort and durability they were worth the money. I have worn them ever since (usually with the yellow contrast stitching).

Can you boil an egg and get it exactly how you want it? (Because I can't!).

Yes I put eggs in boiling water and give 5 minutes, perfect every time!.

May 'To Kill a Mocking Bird'. My DSs have started to take me to theatre, ballet, concerts for Christmas and Birthday presents so I now go a couple or more times a year. They have also unexpectedly enjoyed these performances.

Yes at the RFH, a premiere of some (to me) awful music set to the poems of Primo Levi. Many years ago with a music study group run by WEA. We all rushed to the bar in the interval for a much-needed liquid antidote. The second half was much more enjoyable.

If you have been to the cinema in the last couple of months, what have you seen, and enjoyed ?

No cinema lately but have had an annual trip with DSs to see Lord of the Rings and Hobbit Trilogy. I can't imagine what we might all like in the future.

It was black, velvety, nice to touch, and my to be husband bought it for me when we were engaged. I dont think he knew my size, and has never bought me clothes since, but it fitted wonderfully, and I still like seeing it at the back of my wardrobe.
