How often do your DC that aren't local make contact?

Only those bought by DSs on birthday, Mother's Day even Valentine's Day (awww!) However to be honest I prefer them au naturel.

Anywhere outdoors with the whole family, including a luxury picnic. There would have to be seating as sitting on the ground is not comfortable these days!

Which shampoo do you use?

I change them regularly as they make my hair greasy after a few washes. I usually buy one of the Herbal Essences.

What would be a brilliant Christmas present for you if the giver could afford a maximum of £50?

Hi soon yes Ilove horses. Have done since 4.

Loved hacking out especially over the Epsom downs.

I've a few stories I could tell on a PM to you.

A brilliant Christmas present for me would be something like afternoon tea or a voucher for a meal out.

No, I am a non-believer, a realist.

Do you prefer tea or coffee or neither?

Like morning coffee and afternoon tea. Coffee after mid-day keeps me awake.
What keeps you awake?

If I have been to a meeting that was contencious.

Do you have a beauty regime?

Cleanse at bedtime, moisturise, fall asleep!
After my morning shower, moisturise, allow to sink in while I do my teeth, then a bit of foundation.

What item of clothing do you put on first in the morning when you get dressed?

After showering, my knickers. ( not the ones I wore in bed.

Do you think Autumn this year is particularly spectacular ?

I love every Autumn. I have a September birthday so perhaps I am biased.

We often have lovely weather at this time of year, plus chilly evenings which I also like, being all snuggled up with a hottie and my IPad or good book.

What do you particularly remember about your first real boyfriend or girlfriend ?

My first proper kiss, it was down an alley on the way home from school. His name was John.

How did you meet your current DH/DW or SO

Don't have a current one, but met my ex-H at work.

Where would be your holiday destination of choice in the UK?

The Lake District or Cornwall

Do you have your main meal at lunchtime or in the evening on a Sunday?

We have our main meal in the evening every day except Christmas day.

Apart from a possible wedding ring do you have a piece of jewellery you wear every day.

My own engagement ring (opals) , my MIL's engagement ring (diamonds) and in summer either a little multicoloured bead necklace which I love because it goes with everything and in winter a long double string of grey and white pearls (also late MIL's)

White wine

What are you currently reading ?

A backlog of magazines.

Theatre or opera?

Theatre of any kind. I like musicals but I can't stand opera.

Do you eat any food combinations that could be considered out of the ordinary

Don't think so, but we do usually eat baked beans cold. It dates from the days when DH was on call as a GP, and we would have sausages and beans. I could cook the sausages when the DC had their supper and ours could be ready on the plates when (if!) he came home. We could then eat it quickly in case he had to go out again in a hurry, and it didn't matter if it was hot or cold. This was before the days of microwaves.

Did you have any guisers/trick-or-treaters at your door last night?

No thank goodness!

Do you watch Downton Abbey?

No.

Do you wear jeans?

Yes - and jeggings, almost all the time.
