If it is my post you are puzzled by Greenfinch I just googled the menu at Jaimie's Italian and I found it very interesting with a good gluten free selection for those who can't take gluten.

You do know that every time someone mentions the C word before December Santa kills a baby reindeer!! smile

Shame. Nottingham too far away for this southerner. I note the southerners don't seem to want to do social get togethers. Pity. Could suggest it but don't fancy being Norma No Mates.

I'd love to come along, given that the S.O. and I are complete billynomates at Christmas these days [hope that doesn't put other people off joining in; we're not THAT boring #atleastidon'tthinkthatweare blush].

Great idea, Teetime. Sorry I'm a long way away. Will it be like an office party, with a photocopier and everyone so drunk they daren't go to work next Monday? Oh no, I see it's a nice civilised lunch out!

confused

I couldn't resist google and it looks good with a good GF selection

Greenfinch Tue 18-Aug-15 16:52:29

What a good idea Teetime.I am wondering if we could adopt this idea for our local Gransnetters. We could go on a weekday if that suited better .I'll sound it out with others.

That is a lovely idea Teetime pity we are too far away.

When we retired I missed going out for a Christmas meal with work colleagues so I began our own Firm's Christmas Meal (the Firm being DH and I) so I have booked this year's meal in the time honoured tradition of planning ahead at Jamie's Italian Nottingham one Sunday before Xmas (we like lunch) if anyone would like to join us that would be good.
