Christmas Meal

Rather like it.

I was looking at the Christmas Menu at Jamies in Liverpool and it looks delicious they certainly do go that extra mile when catering for everyones dietary needs,the restaurant was very busy when we where in Town and we couldn't get a table unless we had reserved one and they where taking booking for pre Christmas meals also.

Jamie's restaurants are so obliging. They cook everything from fresh so if you want to for example have an ingredient left out they will do that for you. They notice if you are not enjoying a meal (this has happened to me twice) and change it or take it off the bill. the only down side is that I find their drinks expensive but you can always hold back on the booze and the food is the thing really.

Oh I should have said if you send for a Gold Card (membership its free) from their website you get a little treat say a taster/mini starter for all your party not just yourself (in July it was a Bellini). You also get priority booking and some other treats like a goody bag at Xmas - small but appreciated gestures.

I am one of those who has not yet had their holiday, (next week), and the C word at this time of year brings me out in a rash.

Yes, a tad early to be thinking of mince pies and festive bushes.

Well done for planning Christmas and daring to mention it. I've already got my cards and wrapping paper and have started buying presents.

They've got that special time of the year thread going already at the other place. But they have loadsa kids so have to get their act together.

Now that some are talking about wrapping paper and presents, etc- I am so sorry, but just will have to keep out. The sun is shining, it is lovely and warm, the swallows are still darting in and out of the barn- so NO, NO C word here, please.
