Where can you buy the shoes?

Jane70 Fri 17-Jul-15 18:25:54

No never and daugter goes to get shoes from primark

Ana Fri 17-Jul-15 18:28:53

I thought he wore plimsolls (cheap option).

Oh well, makes a change from Shoe Zone...hmm

vampirequeen Fri 17-Jul-15 18:29:05

Children need a good supportive shoe if they're wearing them all day. Trainers are not suitable.

suzied Fri 17-Jul-15 18:47:13

Sounds good to me. A child needs proper shoes to wear to school. Some schools insist on outdoor shoes and indoor shoes. Count yourself lucky. Is it worth engaging in this conversation?

Ana Fri 17-Jul-15 18:49:51

suzied, what the OP seems to be saying is that the school has not changed the uniform, so trainers and plimsolls are still allowed as regular footwear.

Juliette Fri 17-Jul-15 19:16:45

The smell in Shoe Zone gives me a headache. I can only enter wearing breathing apparatus.

I am Juliette, this thread will now die. grin

Lona Fri 17-Jul-15 19:20:15

He/she will be doing a post count I think.

Can we not have a pact that nobody replies to the next ( there will be one grin) thread on this topic.

soontobe Sat 18-Jul-15 09:38:41

2 or 3 of us have tried/suggested this previously.

But I have learnt in life that it is impossible to do crowd control. Plus some people, as regards this type of thread, enjoy replying. Which is their choice.
Plus in the first instance, it is sometimes not obvious.

glammanana Sat 18-Jul-15 11:50:15

Good leather shoes everytime for school children imo I always saved my childrens family allowance for this purpose I wouldn't dream of sending them in plimsoles didn't the op read all the previous replies on the threads earlier in the year grin

I am about to paint a wall. Would you all like to come and see how quickly it will dry. I will take bets on who gets the timing right.
