The boy in America is a lone wolf with bizarre out of kilter and ideas with the mainstream, quite obviously unbalanced like so many who go on a shooting spree in the states, they often seem to be of a "type" He wasn't galvanised by a religious ideology, I thought his rationale was completely racial. He is likely to be dealt with harshly by North Carolina state, I think they have the death penalty there and that other white supremacist who killed all those people in Oklahoma a few years ago, I believe was executed.
The thing I find the most disturbing about Islamic State is that they want to dominate the world and force their firebrand religion and way of life on all of us. People often draw analogies between Islamic State and the IRA, and as awful as the latter was I don't think their aims extended to turning Britain into a Catholic state.
