Monday's child…

Saturday....71 next week...and still working...so true for me.
I was never allowed to forget that it was a Saturday...My mother complained that she was at the cinema...had to leave early...and never did see the end of the film
Daughter, Friday...and son, Sunday....Both also freakishly accurate ...

1/2 applies, and 1/2 doesnt.

So I cant really say that it is accurate.

I'm a Thursday's child..but I hate going anywhere !! don't like holidays ... I much refer my own home comforts... and the thought of travelling leaves me cold..but then again I am very odd

I was born on a Sunday, I am not good and I am not gay.

My DS1 was born on a Thursday and he has travelled a lot, he also lives about 200 miles away from me.
My DS2 was born on a Wednesday. He is always full of woe if things are not going his way.
I cant remember all the days of the week my grandchildren were born on except DGD3. She was a premature baby born on a Monday and is certainly fair of face.

I was born on a Saturday and have certainly worked hard. It doesn't apply to my children - Sunday born daughter is bipolar, Thursday born son lives in Leeds but that isn't very far away, Wednesday born daughter is a very happy person and Tuesday born son lives 6000 miles away. With 9 grandchildren some of them must fit the rhyme!

I am a Monday's child as is my son,and as someone else said modesty forbids me to say just how lovely I am and how devastatingly handsome my son is. is there also a line in the rhyme mentioning delusional?

My sons and I are allegedly 'full of grace', whatever that may mean, unless there's a religious context which, in our case, doesn't apply.

I went in to labour on a Thursday with DD3. For some reason that rhyme kept going round in my head. I think it was the gas and air. Igot to the pushing stage about 11:30 pm but decided I wanted my baby to be loving and giving. So while DH and midwives were all shouting at me to push, I just lay there. I asked a midwife to let me know when it was midnight, and then did the business! DD3 was born at 4 minutes into Friday.

She can be very loving and giving, but not always . Somewhat crisis prone.

Judthepud2 I once briefly worked on an occult magazine. The man who wrote about horoscopes and stars signs had a pregnant wife who, when the time came, was told stop, go, stop, go. I think, quite rightly, she just ignored him and anyway didn't have a lot of choice.

I may be full of a lot of things, but woe isn't one of them...

DD is a Wednesday's child and anyone less full of woe, it is hard to think of.

I think these rhymes, like horoscopes and biorhythms (another thread) are bound to be coincidentally right quite a number of times, but it is coincidence and nothing else.
