...what would you eat now, if you could choose from everything. Regardless of diet.

For me, it would be a piece of home-made treacle tart.

[sigh]

Scottish oatcake and honey. I had Transpennine Rail sandwiches for lunch - not very satisfying but they did give us a bag of crisps as well. I brought the oatcakes with me but will have to forgo the honey until I can raise the energy to go out and get some.

Fresh, still warm, crusty bread, buttered, and covered with Primula cheese spread.

Please can I have a bit of everything you have all mentioned except Nelliemoser's marmite. I just like food !!!

KatyK Mon 13-Apr-15 16:03:40

Oh yes forgot the brew smile

POGS Mon 13-Apr-15 15:37:49

Katy K

A prawn curry with chapattis.

My predictive text just changed chapattis to hepatitis! grin

An Almond Magnum - just come off the golf course hungry and thirsty- expect a cup of tea will have to do - still trying to lose some lard! sad

Katek Mon 13-Apr-15 14:49:32

A large piece of carrot cake! In real life I've just had a rice cake with my cuppa and there's an orange looking at me from my plate. hmm

KatyK Mon 13-Apr-15 14:47:07

fish and chips from the chippy and white bread and butter smile

rosequartz Mon 13-Apr-15 14:37:23

Crisps can sit in our cupboard from Christmas until they go out of date!
It's the sweet stuff I can't resist

AshTree Mon 13-Apr-15 14:36:31

Oh I see Liz - 'just picked' as in freshly picked, not 'I have just picked...' I read it the wy Jinglbells did grin

Crisps

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 13-Apr-15 14:30:21

[sympathy]

I had carrot soup. hmm

Sometimes thinking about eating things can be almost as good as actually doing it. And you don't get fat.

Lona Mon 13-Apr-15 14:27:14

A big piece of rich, gooey chocolate cake with double cream.

In real life I just had cottage cheese on Ryvita sad

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 13-Apr-15 14:25:34

Oh yes! Of course this is all in our imaginations isn't it! Getting a bit confused now. grin

Liz46 Mon 13-Apr-15 14:23:14

No they were in my imagination jinglbellsfrocks. I do grow them and love to pick them and eat them immediately. The Spanish strawberries from the supermarket just do not have much flavour.

merlotgran Mon 13-Apr-15 14:21:18

Tiramisu. I don't normally have a sweet tooth but I love it.

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 13-Apr-15 14:17:24

How did you manage that Liz? Were they under one of those poly tunnels?

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 13-Apr-15 14:15:13

All of it except the toast. They would make a lovely actual lunch, but it's sweet stuff I crave after.

janerowena Mon 13-Apr-15 14:13:51

What - all of it? shock grin

People have pudding nights, don't they, in some restaurants. I always thought what a wonderful idea, but never went to one.

Liz46 Mon 13-Apr-15 14:13:23

Just picked English strawberries still warm from the sun.

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 13-Apr-15 14:12:19

Count me in!

AshTree Mon 13-Apr-15 14:11:55

A big bowl of sherry trifle with clotted cream. I'm dribbling just thinking about it grin

rosequartz Mon 13-Apr-15 14:11:21

Lunch was a nice heathy salad and I have had enough, but, if pushed, I could eat a Cornish cream tea made by the lovely lady who lives in the farmhouse on the road into St Mawes!

janerowena Mon 13-Apr-15 14:10:15

I had treacle tart on Friday night, in a restaurant. blush I only eat desserts when out, as a treat, but it was SO worth the tummy ache and guilt I felt afterwards. With a little lemon sorbet type ice cream. I would have it again now if I could. as it is - a very small bunch of grapes is beside me.
