how about a new and happy thread, for the good bits in our lives.

So today I smiled because the first redstarts appeared in the garden and a gaggle fo noisy fieldfares.

Keeping up with grandson and DD on station platform today, dropped my latte (saved DD's). Got them established on their homeward train and went back to get myself another coffee. The barista recognised me from a few minutes before and made me another free of charge. Thanks, Starbucks smile

Been snowing heavily, and there was the greater spotted woodpecker- on the birdhouse. Not seen him once yet this year- hurrah
