I smiled today because I can now tell people that DD3 is expecting her first baby in Feb. next year.

Keeping up with grandson and DD on station platform today, dropped my latte (saved DD's). Got them established on their homeward train and went back to get myself another coffee. The barista recognised me from a few minutes before and made me another free of charge. Thanks, Starbucks

Good news Lona, that made me smile.

I've been smiling non stop since Monday, when, at the eye hospital we were told that my son's sight has improved by an amazing amount!
Last year I was afraid that he would lose nearly all his sight, but not any more!
It was so nice to get good news for a change.

I smiled no stop for 3 days- as the musicians we hosted turned out to be fabulous people as well as magical musicians- and last night was wonderful- at 3am, only 15 people were left - all talented musicians, a cello, 2 guitars, several HANGS, a didgeridoo, a lyre, an accordion, a piano, a mouth organ, a couple of singers and a poet- and shooting stars in the sky - wow.

I smiled today as I picked enough home grown runner beans for our dinner tonight.

I smiled today listening to the cricket! Come on England (and Wales).

when my autistic DGS called after us as we were leaving "I won't forget you". As we see him almost every other day , he would have a job to.

when I heard this strong and loud tapping outside- and saw it was the nuthatch- going berserk tapping on the roof of the bird house- because there were no sunflower seeds left. Cheeky thing!

I smiled to day when I read John Howe, the famous Canadian illustator for all the Tolkien film adaptations, Canadian but who lives near me, that he used my favourite wild dale as inspiration for his drawings. GS will be tickled pink when he hears that.
