Merry Christmas from south coast. A lovely clear crisp day but no frost. Just about to have breakfast - a poached egg - over to DD's at about 12.30 for the rest of the day so enjoying a relaxed morning.

A neighbour is defrosting his car in NW London. At least it is dry and bright. I have not checked the temperature outside yet, not long having had a shower and washed my hair.

I am selling my car and naturally cannot find any of the paperwork. I know how I will be spending today and Boxing Day!

Happy Christmas wishes to everyone. Dry and bright here, and our lovely view is to be seen at its best. We will set off later for my DDs (about 20 minutes away) where all the children and GC (6) will be there and we will be 14 round the table at lunchtime - my DD has just had her house extended and we will be in her lovely new (huge) sun room overlooking the garden. It is a wonderful place for all the children to run around and have
fun without getting under everyone's feet too much. I am sure the children will be dying to show us what FC has brought them.

I am under the weather but will be with people who understand and care, so it will be fine.

Kitty - hope all goes well with your mum and you are able to have a relaxing day.

Lots of Christmas wishes.

I should add that FC has not visited here, but mice have! - chewed their way into the under seat storage in the music room again, in spite of all our efforts to seal every crack, and the anti-mice plugin, and the peppermint oil, and the traps and the poison! They have chewed through the cable to by OH's woofer (don't ask!) and he is not a happy man. Oh dear.

Merry Christmas everyone. Great start to our day. The boiler is on the blink so no heating or hot water! Heaters and an open fire going.

Many people are going through worse than me today so I won't grumble about a boiler.

kitty I hope you Mum settles and you can relax and enjoy your day.

One mouse chewed various bits in my sitting room a while back Mishap I empathise with your DH but more importantly, hope you have a lovely day with your family, feet up,and enjoy.

Off to do some warming up excersises tchgrin

Ouch Mishap. Men are very protective about their woofers. My DGS keeps posting his play people into his dads woofer.
