Happy Christmas Michael and one an all. Still dark here but it's not cold. I know this because I have been out to the garage to bring in the 'poor old Turkey' who has been soaking in a bucket. It's time to roll up the sleeves and spend a good 1/2 hour with my hands up a turkeys arse bum and cleavage. Sounds like a perfect start to Christmas morning for youbaubles

Was up at crack of dawn as DGD is with us and we had to go down to see if Santa had been. He had so she is happy

It looks coldish in North Leicestershire but I have not ventured out yet! The lounge was warm and toasty and is now covered in lurid toys and purple wrapping paper! How does Father Christmas do it?

Mum's home had the Critical Response Team out to her again last night so I won't start on the Bellinis until I have heard from a brother how she is today.

Frosty and fairly bright in this part of Essex too. Going to daughters today. Son in law will pick us up and we have taxi booked so everyone can have a glass or two . Then to son's tomorrow who lives in walking distance.

Happy Christmas to everyone take care & enjoy the day,a drizzly day here by The Mersey but not too bad really,we are out from about mid-day until later to-night being fed & watered by DS2s inlaws who are lovely people they have even done a place setting for Poppy so she is not left on her own.

Fine and clear here in Aylesbury.DGDs went to bed hyper as they'd been out to see Santa's sleigh come over. Half the street was out and we had a lovely viewing (space station came right on time!)
Presents have been opened and they're now hyper on chocolate - luckily we're fortified with bacon butties and Buck's Fizz for breakfast!

Going to prepare salads and buffet food to transport to DS's home, we are having lunch in a hotel.

Happy Christmas everyone! Clear and bright here in SE Hampshire. Waiting for a Facetime from DGDs and DS in Austria ( ski-ing holiday). We had a pre-Christmas with them last weekend and another last night with DD and DGC - feel very lucky.

Good morning and a Happy Christmas to you all. It's bright and clear here today, overnight frost slowly clearing under the winter sun. DS just popped in to pick up onions and butter! He is 'doing' Christmas dinner this year along with his DP, obviously forgotten the basics. Waved him off in my new onesie, not a good look on an OAP and such a faff to go to the loo!

Just given the dog a long walk to settle her for the day as we are off to dd for lunch. Should be home early evening though so she won't be left for too long.
