It all started around 11.30pm. A friend was bringing us a couple of dining chairs for tomorrow. On the way she developed a terrible pain in her chest and by the time she got to our house it was so bad she couldn't get out of the car. We managed to get her into the house and phoned for an ambulance. By the time the paramedic arrived she was in agony and bringing up small amounts of blood.
The ambulance has taken her to hospital and DH has gone with her. So now it's just a waiting game.
It's just gone 1am so I'm going to try to sleep on the sofa before the children get up to see what Santa has brought.

Oh I forgot to mention I managed to virtually set the cauliflower and sprouts on fire by forgetting I'd put them on when I was worrying about the other things cooking
