To the men on here - I can imagine what you feel like. One of the forums I belong to is male-dominated, it's all you guys, blokes, lads, fellas etc.
I hardly dare put a word in, and when I do I can see my view is always different from the masculine opinions.
I've tried to get my husband to join in here but no success yet.

Yes, there definitely was a granddad who went to a few meetups. lefthanded you're not alone at being ignored, most of us are ignored some of the time or even quite a lot of the time, it's not because you're a man, it just happens!

TriciaF. I post fairly often and sometimes on subjects that are not targeted at men. Everyone (except JBF, who as you see earlier in this thread does not want my comments) appears to accept my input and even welcome it occasionally (except JBF)

My comments are often tongue in cheek and a little over the top, they seem to be taken in the right spirit (except for JBF)

I like the posts from both of you, but have seen over the years how some personalities don't always gel. It's like having a dinner party and inviting your two favourite sets of people and being shocked when you realise they don't like each other. You just can't understand why not, but there it is. Ye gods that was a dreadful dinner party. One lot was accused of lying, the other lot was accused of being pretentious and I was asked how I could be friends with people like that by both sides.
