I am afraid I am one of the guilty ones as I don't often join in with the chat so I will really try to this time. My problems are that I don't read very quickly and also my book seems to arrive at least a week after some : I have just received the latest one 5 minutes ago. Would it be an idea that only those who posted should qualify for the next month's one ?

Crow has got a point. When you read the bookclub Q&A at the end of the month it's always the same Gransnetters who take part. You rarely see any of the 'invisible' members participating.
Just so you know - we get hundreds of people (mostly names we recognise from the forums as it happens) applying for the free books so we draw the winners at random - which means everyone has the same odds of winning. Always worth doing for book club when we give away so many.
