Should we allow this to continue?

Is it besmirching name of Gransnet? (We all know which gransnetter is responsible for most of it)

Is there anyone in the neighbourhood willing, and able, (especially able) to climb a tree and stay there. Could the kitcheners supply the necessary rations to the protestor?

PUT DOWN THAT CHAINSAW

rosequartz Mon 15-Sept-14 09:45:00

I am quite happy to sit on the rockery all day, like patience on a monument, smiling at Gransnetters (and completely out of the loop as usual - wot's occurring?) grin

Not sure about lying under a pillow while people improve their marriage though shock

ps I do need feeding!! And I come very expensive dj

durhamjen Mon 15-Sept-14 09:50:07

We probably have to bring you indoors in the winter, too.

Brendawymms Mon 15-Sept-14 10:00:22

Put you in a little ditty Rosequartz.

Little durhamjen sat in a corner,
Eating his Agus pie
Down can an Elegran and sat down beside her
And said what good FN'ers are we!

rosequartz Mon 15-Sept-14 10:04:59

This could start another thread.

Galen and Brenda do I have your permission to teach the exciting new versions of nursery rhymes to DGD2's playgroup? The teacher is going to be so thrilled!

Brendawymms Mon 15-Sept-14 10:06:12

Sure

Brendawymms Mon 15-Sept-14 10:07:29

Meant GN'ers not FN'ers whatever they are grin

Nonnie Mon 15-Sept-14 10:41:48

FN'ers are fun-netters!

rosequartz Mon 15-Sept-14 10:43:14

grin

ps can someone please bring me a nice throw (one of those very expensive ones recently modelled in the press). It's a bit chilly out here on the rockery.

Elegran Mon 15-Sept-14 10:47:32

Snow is a good insulator, rosequartz They say that when you are completely buried in a snowdrift you don't feel the cold at all after a while, and just drift off to a really good sleep . . .

rosequartz Mon 15-Sept-14 10:49:28

Thanks, Elegran won't be able to hear what's going on sad
Perhaps a nice thermos of coffee with a nip of rum would cheer me up? Please!

Nonnie Mon 15-Sept-14 10:54:45

A really longggggggggggggggggggggg sleep!

durhamjen Mon 15-Sept-14 11:05:37

Eating her Agus pie, please, Brenda. I hope it's vegetarian.

rosequartz Mon 15-Sept-14 12:34:55

Nonnie what are you trying to tell me? hmm

pushed out in the cold here grumble grumble
Knocks on window, let me in again

(perhaps I should change my name?)

Nonnie Mon 15-Sept-14 12:44:55

Don't change your name rose some of us can't cope!!

I think you should come in and have a nice glass of something warming. Maybe the idea of being under the pillow is not so bad after all?

Galen Mon 15-Sept-14 13:01:12

Are you very big Rose? Just asking as I could do with a rosequartz ring to go with my pearls. The ones that are a long rope of three pearls the a rosequartz bead.

rosequartz Mon 15-Sept-14 13:04:32

Thank you, Nonnie. Under the pillow sounds good today as I seem to have picked up DGD2's sniffles.

Galen Unfortunately, I think I am MUCH too big. Trying to get smaller but not succeeding.
The pearl rope sounds lovely and a rosequartz ring would be lovely too. It is my birthstone.

Elegran, snow is indeed an excellent insulator. Up here in our mountains, houses have very wide lightly sloping rooves, so the snow does settle on top to insulate. We sometimes have up to 4 or 5' of snow on top- keeps us cosy.
