Is there a song or a piece of music that never fails to give you a little lift if you suddenly hear it on the radio, or when in the shops etc? I have several including;Nessun Dorma [Pavarotti] what's the frequency Kenneth[REM]Electric Avenue[ Eddy Grant] Blueberry Hill [Fats Waller?]Lovely Rita-meter maid [Beatles] Hello, goodbye [Beatles] Start Me Up [Stones] Sultans Of Swing [Dire Straits]O sole mio [Three Tenors]Heroes [David Bowie] I like many more, but these are just ones off the top of my head, that always lift my mood. smile

We had John Williams playing guitar at my husband's funeral - recording I mean, not in real life. Used to have an LP of Julian Bream and John Williams.

Summer time, and the living is easy .....
For my 60th all generations brought their desert island discs (dids) on various iPods. We slotted them in and played them on the beach ( excuse for DH to buy a genny!)
Amazingly my mother had Back to black on her list!
