Good morning to baubles and all my Granspals. The smell of freshly baked scones alerted me to treats in store. As it's a bank holiday, we treat ourselves to a dark choc Magnum ice cream...to be enjoyed in the garden [should the murk lift] or before the log fire, if not.
Managing to get a decorator on a bank holiday, no matter what time he arrives, is useful, baubles ...go easy on him. A cup of coffee and one of your delicious scones will be very much appreciated.
MacSporran has stripped the flaky paint off our garden bench. It's in bits, in the loft. He's also ear-marked several "must do" decorating jobs on the outside of the house. The salt air plays havoc with paintwork.
Lona continue to have a lovely time with your dear friend. It cheers me to find you in such good spirits.
Agus Jigsaws, like Lego, are meant to keep grannies concentrating on the job in hand. I must admit to taking time out to wash a few dishes and such and leaving Torben to assist Grandpa with the very fiddly aspects of building an entire fire station, together with a variety of vehicles. MacSporran tells me that, if there is a Lego of the Forth Bridge...please may he have it. Seriously!
rosequartz If I catch you on the outside looking in, I shall get very cross. You have a reserved corner of the chaise...the pristine bit...where Rory is not encouraged to park himself. So, from now on, come on in and share your news with us. We enjoy your company.
granjura...the Paps of Jura are shrouded in early morning fog mist. In summer, the sun sets between the Paps and floods the sea with glorious colour. As I type, the ferry from Islay is on it's way to Kennacraig. It looks a bit like a ghostly galleon.
Ana I try to make time to catch up with you lovely lot at least once a day. I hate it when I cannot say hello and all the rest. I'm busy in my so-called studio. Don't ask!
I always log off at five-ish. I need to be strict with myself, otherwise nothing remotely useful would be attended to. You do not want to see the amount of ironing that I keep promising to tackle. Okay, I'm a lazy, laid-back mare.
Charleygirl Rory sends purrs to Tara. He cannot manage anything too energetic as he's only just opened an eye having been asleep for 11 hours. His stressometer registers zilch.
