Where do you shop

Well, I`m clothed almost entirely by Bonmarche, a shop that always feels comfortable and welcoming, and I know their things will fit.

I tend to use Monsoon, Sea Salt, Fat Face, sometimes Boden, White Stuff. M and S always for bras, knickers and jeans.

Phase eight, Betty Barclay, Gerry Weber and sometimes Kaliko usually available from John Lewis or Fenwick.

For a treat - Gudrun Sjoden (that IS for a treat) Bonmarche, Next,charity shops

Florence and Fred at Tesco and anything else that takes my fancy from time to time. I am fed up with overpriced second hand clothes in charity shops.

John Lewis usually, lots of choice under one roof along with good customer service. The few small independent shops locally do some good clothes, we have one that's been here 40 years, selling 'designer seconds' and a new shop selling 2nd hand, good quality clothes.

Bon Marche and BHS for day to day wear or Isme when I want something a bit dressy.

Landsend (online) for knitwear. M&S for underwear, local boutique for special occasions; Coast.

Loads of different places. New Look, Next, Per Una sometimes. Yesterday when I was feeling a bit low DH treated me to a pair of knee length, tight black suede boots from the Jones The Bootkmaker sale. I feel as though I am back in the 60s (and I don't care if I look daft!)

Does anyone buy from Uniqlo, just come across their web site and their stuff looks interesting and fun?

Uniqlo has lovely 100% natural clothes, in basic styles and colours, but their sizes are small. I preferred to buy from their shops, but they seem to have shut most of them!

caz I think it was janerowena who wrote about Uniglo and I sent for some bits for OH & t-shirts for me I was more than pleased with them made better as I got them in a sale.
Otherwise I shop at JL or Debenhams because of the different brands available M&S for undies/boots.

Buy lots from Charity shops and make my own evening clothes so that they are unique.!

i wont buy clothes from charity shops as i find they are too expensive in my area id rather pay the extra couple of quid for a new item.....has anyone noticed how expensive clothes are at the market stalls? on eastenders kat was asking £30 for a dress????

I have never seen anything in a charity shop that I remotely like. I keep telling myself to go to an upmarket area where the clothes will be of better quaility.

I use M&S for underwear, Per Una, M&S on line, Bon Marche for tops, Landsend on line and Uniqlo. The minor problem is I cannot get to the Uniqlo since my last surgery, it is too far to walk. If I see something in eg Debenhams I will buy it but I do not go out specifically to buy clothes.

I do buy from uniqlo, but I think it was janeinainsworth who mentioned them before. I buy from all sorts of places, I have no particular favourite but I love real wool and natural products so buy most of my cardigans and jumpers from Woo lovers, they do lovely long-line cardigans in lots of colours and long-line v-necks, these are my slobbing around at home outfits. I love phase eight and Boden dresses, phase eight often have long sleeves. Seasalt, fat face both do lovely tops with long sleeves. I buy long-sleeved t-shirts from sainsbury and almost everything else is bought online from sites like uniqlo. Quite often if I need a particular item I will just Google it - such as a long-sleeved red top for choir or black wool trousers, and I look at the results suggested.
