Good morning to you all. It's sunny and chilly in bonnie Kintyre. I hope that you have all managed to stay safe and cosy.
MacSporran had to undergo a hospital procedure yesterday...so we set off early for Oban. I'm happy to tell you that the result of said procedure was not as we feared. In fact, he has a condition that can be regulated by a change of diet. Mind you, his diet is, on the whole, quite satisfactory, although, unlike me, he won't eat wholegrain bread. By the time we got home, it was late. We celebrated with a wee dram and a hearty supper. We both slept soundly.
The lost property office in the hospital had no wedding ring lurking in the safe. I've promised MacSporran a new one. I met one of the ladies who cleans the wards. She was great fun during my hospital stay. We had a long chat and she said that the ward isn't the same without you ...which made me chuckle. Perhaps I should book a bed and have a slot for patient fun time.
I have a plate full of date slices to share. The coffee is freshly made. The cushions are plumped. A big hug to all my Granspals.
