glassortwo Fri 18-Oct-13 22:35:29

Oh well I have plenty of padding grin

hebrideanlady Fri 18-Oct-13 22:36:02

I am having a dummy run tonight trying to get used to alcohol

glassortwo Fri 18-Oct-13 22:37:54

Its a bit damp up here but warm tonight. Of course you wont feel the cold with the alcohol wink

hebrideanlady Fri 18-Oct-13 22:43:47

I cant wait to fly over the tyne bridge and if you don't mind I would quite like to fly down the tyne and have a look at the piers

glassortwo Fri 18-Oct-13 22:54:19

We can detour down there but its another 30 odd miles North from Newcastle to Alnwick, but on your super speed tandem wont take long.

hebrideanlady Fri 18-Oct-13 22:56:44

Thank you thlgrin

glassortwo Fri 18-Oct-13 23:03:17

What do you think of this costume, only problem is how do you get a drink grin

headless

hebrideanlady Fri 18-Oct-13 23:14:51

I have kept pressing the button to look at the costume but it took to long to come on my screen I will try later, i have been told by others I do not need a costume or any other enhancements to look or act like a witch

glassortwo Fri 18-Oct-13 23:17:05

grin

annodomini Fri 18-Oct-13 23:35:01

Intravenously, glass?

gillybob Fri 18-Oct-13 23:35:17

Bit choppy between the piers at the minute hebrideanlady I would give them a miss for tonight. Lying in bed I can hear the sea raging above
The sound of my DH's his snoring!

glassortwo Fri 18-Oct-13 23:42:09

anno I think you might be right. wink

hebrideanlady Fri 18-Oct-13 23:43:43

Thank you so much for that information gillybob I have an aunty that lives at the Lawe top, she confirms your weather forecast I shall (big sigh) try again tomorrow

Elegran Sun 20-Oct-13 09:35:56

I was about to say "Wait till she opens her mouth" but . . .

bikergran Sun 20-Oct-13 09:46:22

apparently on the radio the other day they were talking to a chap who has done his garden up Halloween style complete with bodies (fake) and intestines hanging out etc etc ..the people have complained as it's frightening the children, and the police were called...I must admit in our £1 shop there's some ghoulish stuff! servered hands/fake blood/eyeballs hanging out etc... brilliant for adult Halloween parties thlgrin thlwink thlhmm

glammanana Sun 20-Oct-13 10:20:53

Galen Sun 20-Oct-13 22:09:37

I'll dye my hair so you won't recognise me!

Anne58 Sun 20-Oct-13 22:49:33

I'm planning to be there!

Although Hallow'een is my DGS's birthday!

Do we have any other theme, apart from the obvious one? Should I attempt an ode, written especially for the occasion?

glassortwo Sun 20-Oct-13 22:51:51

Go on phoenix an ode for halloween. You can go with whatever theme you want grin

Galen Sun 20-Oct-13 22:52:18

Which is the shortest?
An ode or a sonnet?

Anne58 Sun 20-Oct-13 22:56:33

I think a sonnet, 14 lines, not sure if there is a restriction on odes.

If there is, it will no doubt be some EU Directive.

Galen, do I get the impression that if I was to write something, you would prefer it to be short? smile

glassortwo Sun 20-Oct-13 22:59:54

I think galen is thinking if she is reading she cant be enjoying the vodka jellies wink
