Fill it in with the dog.

whitewave Thu 30-Apr-15 17:46:38

Just an update - ass is on the flat of his back with legs in the air on the sofa after dinner, whilst DH and I have been discussing whether to fill in the pond and just have a small water feature.

bikergran Thu 30-Apr-15 17:25:10

oh dear!! shock

whitewave Thu 30-Apr-15 16:30:43

Huh! poor doggy my a....s he is as we speak out on the downs enjoying a run around with his mates without a care in the world, whilst I am surveying my puddle with gloom. The frogs have all popped up for a bit of air and respite.

Galen Thu 30-Apr-15 16:25:37

Poor doggy!

whitewave Thu 30-Apr-15 16:18:21

You can have him anyway you want - he has totally trashed the garden pond all the plants broken and mush and I am left with a muddy puddle. If someone would provide me with a sausage machine I will do the honours!

annodomini Thu 30-Apr-15 16:00:48

whitewave, did anyone say anything about hot dogs?

whitewave Thu 30-Apr-15 15:05:16

Just seen this DUNCAN belongs to me and I am not best pleased with him at the moment so perhaps I will sacrifice him on the barbecue next time.

Galen Sun 20-Oct-13 23:01:39

Galen Sun 20-Oct-13 23:01:22

Who did Duncan belong to anyway?

Galen Sun 20-Oct-13 22:59:57

On Hallows eve the grannies meet
Tall, short, fat or sleek
They weave their magic
Round the fire,
Beware all you
Who raise their ire
They are there to have their fun
Waccy baccy, mushrooms too
Vodka jellies, tots of rum!
Beware the cat dog of renown
He'll steal the food you've left around
Then to the grannies he will run
To get his fiery backside dressed by the firstaider!

glassortwo Sun 20-Oct-13 22:59:54

I think galen is thinking if she is reading she cant be enjoying the vodka jellies wink

Anne58 Sun 20-Oct-13 22:56:33

I think a sonnet, 14 lines, not sure if there is a restriction on odes.

If there is, it will no doubt be some EU Directive.

Galen, do I get the impression that if I was to write something, you would prefer it to be short? smile

Galen Sun 20-Oct-13 22:52:18

Which is the shortest?
An ode or a sonnet?

glassortwo Sun 20-Oct-13 22:51:51

Go on phoenix an ode for halloween. You can go with whatever theme you want grin

Anne58 Sun 20-Oct-13 22:49:33

I'm planning to be there!

Although Hallow'een is my DGS's birthday!

Do we have any other theme, apart from the obvious one? Should I attempt an ode, written especially for the occasion?
