I've a spare pair of roller blades going begging if you need them for Anthea,she may be able to wizz about on them behind the bar ? I'll pop in later when back from DDs doing happy nanna duties to-day been summoned to do "grown up" talk to DGS about his 6th form so will no doubt be in need of a large glass or maybe the brandy will be needed.

Glam ....Anthea wont be back....she has pulled something...a hamstring...I think

Anyway... Melanie will be behind the bar tonight....she has pulled pints before and knows what she is doing. Two bottles of Brandy hidden behind the brown ales for you....

All the new staff don't seem to stay too long do they "Pete" they just can't take the pace if you ask me,got no stamina I think is the term. All quiet in my house is the football on TV never known the man in my life to be so quiet

Well Ms Sykes has her feet up watching the highlights ....so she hasn't run off yet!

Might have known it was someone nice and attractive as the lovely "Mel" keep her away from our Firemen or we won't stand a chance.

I'll give Mel the night off when the Firemen are around so don't fret !

Well things are quiet around here ? the "boss" must be busy setting up his football matches for the week-end so no sign of him,funny thing is we've not seen the delightful "Mel" either so I wonder where they are !!
I've stocked the fridge so we have loads of nibbles and meat pies for half time when the match is on. see you later

I must admit to watching the footie the other night with my fav manager Jose on the side lines,it's a pity we can't just watch him for 90mins he is so easy on the eye.
Pete off to Melwood with DGS no 5 on Monday am we have been invited by pal to watch training don't know weither 1st team or reserves but will pass on your regards if you want as if ?
Still some nibbles left in fridge? I'm thinking we must have a little swarie and get rid of everything before I do some more baking,is everyone watching their waistlines or what ??

Nonu I know poor chap I do feel sorry for him,to be honest though I only support Liverpool as it one of our local teams and my boys are avid supporters, I could not name a team player to save my life the last players I could name from the team where Kevin Keegan & John Toshack so thats how much interest I have,mind you I did have a kevin keegan perm once but will not talk about that

I jest ye not mi dear I did have one of those perms,but I must say that it was probabley the very last time I had my hair short I never trusted a hairdresser again so now keep the mop long and straight,it's less embarrassing.

Nonu 19 days to be precise and counting I am now starting to enjoy things as everything is done and dusted and we can relax a wee bit,hotel booked/nails/hair/spa/etc I am really looking forward to the grown up time I will be spending with my DD and my eldest DS as the DGCs will be going home after the main meal and photographs.

Well I am going to poddle off for a while , nobody seems to be about , still we have had a nice little drink and chat , leave it on my tab.
