I am getting far too good at ignoring jobs lists.

I hope it works. hmm

I've been up to Gloucester to see dd and dgd, for some unknown reason she kept bursting into tears!
Dd said she'd being doing it all day when anyone looked at her!
Any bright ideas?

How old is she now jeni?

jeni Wed 02-May-12 18:01:40

10months.

Poor little scrap - I wonder what has brought that on?

Perhaps she has a pain somewhere? - or has lost something? - or her nappy is too tight? I often think how frustrating it must be for babies and toddlers not to be able to say if they have an itch or something.

Hope she chirps up soon.

jeni could it possibly be teeth, maybe the bigger ones or on the funny side maybe she is practicing how to be a "diva" and get undivided attention as all little girls should getsmile I love that age still small enough to cuddle but not big enough to escape from you. Here's hoping she brighten's up soon.xx

Thanks. I thought teeth as her two top ones are erupting. The iPad stops her crying, I have things like sight and sound and laser lights installed and she's fascinated by them. When she sees me, she looks for the iPad!
Not cupboard love but computer love grin

I've had a look in my old Dr Spock book. Is she used to you yet? Says they get more wary of people they're not so used to at about a year. But she knows you by now doesn't she?

I expect it's a phase.

nanachrissy I like your zodiac party idea - that way, anyone who has a birthday looming can be included smile

harrigran Wed 02-May-12 19:28:46

jeni I misread your post and thought you meant DD kept bursting into tears, I was going to suggest she did a pregnancy test grin
I have one looming on the 12th too, I am dreading it. "DC keep saying what do you want to do ?" Forget it springs to mind but DD in her 40s doen't think 66 is that big a deal. Hah, just wait.

jeni Wed 02-May-12 19:33:24

grin I think dgd is making sure that there are no siblings! She co sleeps and will not sleep in her cot! Also wakes a lot in the night, wanting breast feeds!
