Has anyone used Bio Oil for scars?

I've just had the stitches out from where I had the mole removed, and it's looking like it might be quite an ugly scar. In the Bio Oil ads it's shown as being good to reduce scars.

Any experience of it, anyone? It's not cheap so I thought I'd ask before splashing out.

I have been using it on big scars and can really recommend it.

The very best thing is Vitamin E oil, phoenix - recommended by my Breast Care nurses. But you mustn't put any oil on until the wound is closed up. Then, while it's still new, use Vit E capsules and snip the end off to apply the oil. That way you know it fairly sterile. I then went on to use it from a bottle.
I am now using it on the knee scar, which is looking good.

Yes, I have used Vit E capsules on a scar years ago and it healed up well. You can take them as well, of course, as it is good for the skin.
