Red ball point

Grandson posted red ball point in the washing machine without being noticed. Now my white bedding is badly stained. Any ideas on how to remove it?

Might Biotex work if you soak it for long enough? I've always found it to be good but never tried it with ballpoint ink.

You could get some differently coloured pens and a reproduction of a Paul Klee painting ("taking a line for a walk") and create a unique bedtime masterpiece.
