Delivery companies who don't!

I knew someone that worked for Evri, they got paid 60p per parcel delivered and spend an hour collecting and sorting their parcels for delivery where they do not get paid at all.

For a 40-hour week the pay way £800 per month.

I am not excusing the behaviour of a few of them however I can understand why they make mistakes and have no pride in doing a good job.

Some dump them,some say delivered when they won't be until the next day or 2 - this is, I think, to meet their daily quota of deliveries.
Some just don't look at the address properly, like in our case we're number 7 of a 7 house street, there are several other streets surrounding us (we're like an alleyway through to other areas), they can't get through to a gated estate so we're their dumping spot!
The times we've answered our door to be handed a parcel, get indoors and start opening and only then realise it's not ours, we check now before accepting, much to the couriers annoyance at times!!

We’ve had one or two similar. This is why I always pick the Royal Mail option, if there is one. I know people moan about RM but it’s always been fine for us.
