Avon had a Honeysuckle solid perfume stick which smelt exactly like fresh honeysuckle does in the evening. I was given a very pretty long sleeved long nightie from M and S for Christmas. Loved the smell of Pond's vanishing cream, my mother used it. And Hinds Almond and Honey hand cream.

Remembered - liquer chocolates with the crispy sugar crust under the chocolate ?

In the 1960s, (is that really half a century ago?) I loved Elizabeth Ardens's Silver Pink and Silver Coral lipsticks. I almost went into mourning when I found that these had been discontinued!

Oh and I don’t think anyone has mentioned proper Walnut Whips. The new ones don’t taste right and are walnutless!!!
