For me it is the root of the celery which we used to fight over, bacon rind (very hard to find), banana toffee which stuck to your teeth and blancmange/symington table creams. Ponds face cream, and Armani hair gel. The gel would be so thick sometimes it had to be washed out! Guess I’m giving my age away ?
Wall's Wiz (ice lolly with a sticky toffee centre - yum ?) Ross' Potato Puffs in their crinkly red packets Those round, old penny-sized individually wrapped chocolates made by ??Nestle?? Whatever were they called? Angel Face foundation Desert Flower talc White Fire perfume
Vesta Beef Risotto, a tasty, quick meal, can't find it anywhere now, some of the other Vesta meals are available but not my favourite! Also Cadbury Grand Seville chocolate bar; similar to the rum one, but it had tiny pieces of orange peel, and was a blend of milk & dark chocolate ??
Minadex .... I think you may actually still be able to buy this though I have not taken it for at least 50 years. My Mum had the idea I was a sickly child who had " poorly " spells. She'd feed me Minadex and I grew. I blame her for the fact I am 6 foot ! Sickly ! Me ? What rubbish !
I was fed Minadex as well! I only made it to 5' 10.5", but my sister made it to 6'1"! What on earth was in that stuff??

Avon had a Honeysuckle solid perfume stick which smelt exactly like fresh honeysuckle does in the evening. I was given a very pretty long sleeved long nightie from M and S for Christmas. Loved the smell of Pond's vanishing cream, my mother used it. And Hinds Almond and Honey hand cream.
In the 1960s, (is that really half a century ago?) I loved Elizabeth Ardens's Silver Pink and Silver Coral lipsticks. I almost went into mourning when I found that these had been discontinued!
