iPad and gransnet

Whenever I open the gransnet app on my iPad it opens at a thread about Will Self The Great British Vomitorium. I think I must have been reading it on line when I downloaded the app onto the iPad . Does anyone know how I can make the app open onto the home page? It's such a depressing title to see when I start up gransnet.

I can't help, Stansgran as I can't even find the ap for GN. How do you get it?

i don't use the app but it works fine and I have full access to GN... use that and ignore the ap. I loved Will Self's article about excess but the title is a bit off-putting!

Hi Stansgran. We don't have an app - do you mean you've added the Gransnet website as a button on your home screen?

If you delete it from your home screen, then access our main homepage (or whichever landing page you'd like) from Safari, you can click on the button which says 'add to home screen' . I'm looking at it from my iPhone, but I imagine it works in a similar way on an iPad.

It does. Hold the icon and it will start to flash. Press the x and it will ask if you want to delete. Then log in to GN (if you can remember you password) and using the curved arrow sign just to the left of your 'www type in space' press, add to home screen and name.
