I just read the article in beauty section about foundations and coverage.
I have tried most makes and hardly any of them offer complete coverage for women with problem skin eg acne scars, pigment marks. I had really bad acne when I was younger which turned to cystic acne in my 40's. The treatment I was offered was hydrocortisone injections into each lesion (raised painful, itchy lumps on my face)
i wasn't told that a side effect of this was depigmentation of the area which has left white patches on my face. I tried every kind of make up and concealer but to no avail until a few years ago on Lorraine a beauty expert recommended Estee Lauder Maximum Cover. It really is the best foundation, gives excellent coverage and doesn't look like a mask and also waterproof. The only downside for me is that Estee Lauder carries out cruel tests on animals. So, recently I went on the hunt again for a concealer make-up that is not tested on animals. With the help of Google I found Keromask Camouflage Cream. I now use this more than the Estee Lauder. I don't know if any other Gransnetters have a similar problem but just thought I would share this with you. As we get older we need all the help we can get to feel confident in our skin.
