Hand held Steamer

I am looking to buy a steamer as they are supposed to be good for cleaning.
Anyone on Gransnet use one and what do you think of them?

I have one which converts into a hand held steamer. It's a few years old now and I find it a bit cumbersome. Maybe the newer models are better. The cleaning was good but not brilliant, I only use mine for floors now as I can't kneel.

I use mine only ever for cleaning the base of the shower, when I realise that it needs a good clean that a cloth will not reach, for that alone it was worth the money and the space. It lives in a bag in my airing cupboard. It is dark red, cannot remember the make

I appreciate your opinions. I thought one might be useful for jobs like those hard to reach bits.
