I wondered if this might be helpful for anyone else. I had been having a lot of trouble recently with sores in my mouth and little ulcers. I kept blaming this on my teeth which have become so thin with age and wear that they are razor sharp. However, I read somewhere that toothpaste with sodium lauryl sulphate can cause such problems. I have now switched to a SLS free toothpaste and am pleased to say that the problem seems to have disappeared.
