Are you referring to part of your knickers deciding that rather than covering your buttocks, they would prefer to try to hide up your bottom, or (re your mention of thrush) the dreaded camel toe effect?

You are, I think, referring to a wedgy. It is a pain in the arse/fanny, but I always console myself with the thought that men's underwear is probably even more problematical for them, given the quantity of external equipment.

My DGD aged 3 is always saying "I've got a wedgy - make it go away!"

Yes Pheonix, it's the camel toe effect and my nix ( and I've tried various types) continually disappear and then rub as I walk. I was beginning to think I was deformed down there. It may sound an insignificant problem but it is dominating my day. I'm only comfortable when I am sitting down but that can be painful if I don't rearrange my underwear first.

My sister has a continuing problem in the nether regions. She hardly ever wears trousers, as she needs the air to circulate. I, on the other hand live in my trousers. The panties I like best are the seamless shorts type. Tesco's sell them. They are great under trousers and jeggings and never move.

I think bigger sizes will help, both knickers and leggings.

The jeans can be a problem, it might be a matter of finding the right cut, rather than size, and I don't mean straight, boot etc.

You need to find some that have the right crotch to waist measurement for you, otherwise you will keep having the same problem.

Go to a shop that stocks loads of brands, loads of different cuts, grab an assistant and keep trying pairs on until you find the right ones!

The camel toe effect is much more embarrassing than a wedgie because it involves the front view, not the back. Some women wear pads just to avoid it. If you're not sure what the camel toe effect is, have a look at the pop star Taylor Swift and Tennis player Maria Sharapova.

I know what camel toe effect is and that's usually the look I end up with. I've thought about wearing a pad if only to stop nix from rubbing. My niece wears skin tight leggings and has no problem in that department.

bobbydog my comment about camel toe was general and not directed at you. Every body is different and camel toe is a problem for some, but not others. If I had a problem, I would wear a panty liner.

I've been their, done that, but when you're getting dressed in the back of a car its understandable.

There was a similar thread recently, commando seemed to be the chosen option for many.

OP on a serious note, have you tried a thong? It's the only undergarment I can wear comfortably. Even then, it has to be a particular type - I get them in Primark in Large.

I would suggest choosing pants with a wide gusset and wear a 'long plus' liner placed well forward. I am most comfortable in M&S no VPL full briefs, as the elastic doesn't dig in, especially if you buy a size larger than your dress size.
I hope you manage to solve this problem. Having to keep adjusting underwear is a pain.

Thongs ? My daughter said it's like flossing your bottom ! I go for big knickers all the time, panty liners sound like the way to go for you bobbydog, the joy of being a laydee.

As for Thrush its a good idea to go knickerless if you can (proably at home) with a long floaty skirt as I was told once - get some air round it. Otherwise a discreet panty liner should give you more comfort and a larger size in draws perhaps.

I always thought Thrush was passed from person to person not from your pants. My advise would be to be celibate and wash your hands frequently. I've never had Thrush so what do I know.
