and none too happy. I received the letter this morning asking me to ring the memory clinic to book an appointment for the scan etc., so I phoned them.
The person at the other end said that I had been referred back to my GP, which I thought was a bit odd
Phoned the surgery, receptionist didn't have a clue as to what I was talking about but said she would get GP to ring me once he had finished morning surgery.
He phoned a while ago and said that the specialist was refusing to see me
Apparently this specialist thinks I need to up the dose of my antidepressants (Dosulepin) and that will stop me being anxious, and if I was less anxious I would be less inclined to forget things
I don't feel particularly anxious, but I do get anxious when I forget things and can't think of the right words!
Anyway, I an now supposed to take 100 mg a day, I'm currently on 75 mg, and prior to that was on 50 mg. My GP wants to see me after 3 weeks to see if I'm any better.
The government changed women's pension age and called it progress. Did anyone actually ask you?
Don't think so jingl I'm supposed to be at work tomorrow, that is if I wake up in time. (part time, 2 days a week, still on probation, just hope that they will keep me on!)
