Was lazing in bed tidying up the bedroom when I thought I heard DH say something about taking the dog for a walk. This usually takes 30 minutes, so after having a shower and getting dressed I began to wonder vaguely where he'd got to. Possibly met a fellow dog walker and stopped to chat?
After 45 minutes was getting worried as he's getting very forgetful lately. After 60 minutes decided there was something very wrong so wandered outside to look down the road to see if I could spot him
The dog followed me outside
DOG?
Then I noticed the car was gone. Only then did I remember the he'd said he had his monthly band practice this morning 
Should I be worried?

pompa he did (just about) notice I'd gone but the fact the dog was gone too gave it away
