Overrun with Cucurbita!

I need some courgettes?

I have sage, parsley, oregano, runner beans tomatillos and tomatoes to exchange!

I wish I lived closer! I'd enjoy a garden produce swap session.

Pot-up the unwanted seedlings and give them away. I didn't plant any butternuts this year, but the compost heap is producing lots of seedlings - although they'll probably revert

Next year plant them near some eyesore that you want to cover up (if you have any in your garden. We have loads!)

Told my daughter I had one chili seedling, she said 'good' - but now I have 5......

And I planted a large cucurbita-type seed to find out what it was; it produced the largest seedling I have ever seen. 5" across the seed leaves.
Does this mean it's a pumpkin or is there something bigger?!

It is triffid. Be afraid. Be very afraid!

Triffids are mobile. Is it walking around?
You tend to see them near road signs that say 'large plant crossing'

This hasn't moved yet. I shall watch it very carefully.....
