So, am following the recipe for chicken chilli and it tells me to skin and deseed my plum tomatoes. Deseed! what a faff and is that really necessary, would the seeds spoil the recipe if they were left in. Also, there was hardly any tomato left by the time I had deseeded them. Please tell me why this necessary.
