You're forgiven glass how could we begrudge our guide and mentor a good nights sleep?
Good news and not-so-good news to report this week!
The good news is more as at weigh-in yesterday morning I was 165.6lbs - another two pounds gone. YEH!!!
I did have a good week discipline-wise except for sharing a bottle of wine with my boss and a couple of colleagues on Friday lunchtime, but being good the rest of the time seemed to have helped.
The not-so-good news is that yesterday lunchtime we had the official leaving 'do' for that same Boss and it was buffet/finger food - all tempting but not good for MFP. As I was on the food table we didn't just go, pick a few bits and walk away - we were permanently posted and nibbled as we went along
I entered all sorts on MFP but can't be accurate and it shot into the red long before I had thought of everything so I gave up!
I intend to be good for the whole week ahead but having said that, it is daughter's graduation with canapes etc this afternoon which I do intend to enjoy!!!
However, two days don't make a week - I will be good from Tuesday onwards and hopefully there won't be too much damage next weekend

Oops! Alcohol went to my head more than I thought weight was 157.6lbs not 165.6 - would have been very to have shot up to 165.6!!! Confirm - loss of 2lbs = 157.6lbs

sba fantastic another 2lb, dont worry about your little celebration you cant go through life without the odd celebration as you say back on track on Tuesday. Congratulations on your DDs graduation have a lovely afternoon and you make sure you enjoy it

I forgot you all but could not sleep think I was over tired went out like a light then woke at 4 and have just drifted in and out till 6, think I overdid it a bit at the house at the weekend, cant seem to shake myself this morning my first full day to myself as DGD is full time into school.

I have lost 1lb exactly. Not a lot and we did have one naughty nutty night (Blame Julian Graves 50% off, shouldn't have had them in the house) but had been low on MFP the day before and the day after. I do wish it wasn't so slow.

I've given up putting my exercise on MFP as it keeps telling me how many extra calories I have to eat which seems to negate the exercise. I am also finding the comments about if I carry on eating like this I will weigh some wonderful amount in 5 weeks which turns out not to be true! It just raises my expectations to something which is not achievable for me.

Well done sbagran and Movedalot, both still heading in the right direction!
I had a bit of a blitz last week. Having hovered around the same weight for a couple of months, than gained 4lbs during a fortnight of outings, I decided it was time to do something drastic.
So for a week I've eaten mainly cabbage soup and salad and only had wine on one day (that's the really drastic bit)
It worked and I've lost 5lbs, so I'm now all fired up to keep on losing more. It feels as though I've kick-started my body back into action again. I wont be able to keep up last week's regime though as the cabbage soup does have fairly anti-social consequences and I need wine more than once a week to avoid de-hydrating.

Notso well done. I think it is harder to get back after a slide but you seem to know just what to do.

No I have put 1lb on and I am sick, I have got to do something about this messing about 1 on 1 off, got to get my act together but tonight is not the time to think about it I am so with my SIL but thats another story so I have had another glass of wine !!!!!!

glass stop beating yourself up, you don't do that to us when we slip!

I think sometimes you just have to wait for the right mood to come and when it does just go for it. There are times when it just loses its importance and we just have to wait until we wake up one morning and the mood really grabs us. After all we would none of us be overweight if it were easy!

Am still cheerful .

Have stayed the same for third week running , well actually lost 0.01 of a kilo- you have to love metric weights for being quite so accurate !- but am very happy at this weight which is nearly my target.

Keeping a check on things with MFP has got rid of that awful yoyoing up and down and I definitely feel more in control of the food I am eating .

So all in all - a good week .
Now would just like to lose that last couple of pounds !

According to my scales, I haven't lost an ounce in over two weeks even though my waist measurement has reduced.. DH had an appointment at the surgery this morning so we asked if we could use the scales in the nurse's room. We've both lost HALF A STONE

Scales are going in the bin!

100% agree movedalot - glass shouldn't beat herself up and the same applies to all our fellow triers who are struggling. Keep positive and things will move if we persevere.
That is the beauty of this thread every week - those having has successes can encourage those who are struggling.
Keep up the good work EVERYONE and those who are struggling - we all rooting for you!

Hi sba I have not visited much this week I have really been out of sorts with myself and could not inflict that on anyone else but I have turned the corner and its a new week starting tomorrow
