These hospital emergency programmes often feature 'older men ' who insisted, against the wisdom of their wives, on doing a roof repair/inspection!

I know this isn't a laughing matter, but it has still made me laugh picturing your husband climbing up on the roof. Hope everything turns out OK.

Perhaps a short legal separation or a legal telling off but not divorce, well not for the first time !!

All I can say is, for or not, that would highly irresponsible and thank goodness it wasn’t so much worse!

Give key to roofers.
Or in the middle of large tin of self raising flour.
Make sure he gets a tetanus jab.
Lot of filth on roofs.
Don't want it to turn into disease.

DH tried to come down the wrong side of a A frame ladder once. The side with no steps. He fell into the rockery, banging his head on a rock. Ambulance etc… but he was okay. Knocked a bit of sense into him hopefully .
