Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark but at the moment it looks dry here in Brackley.
Reflecting back to Harrogate , I had a single room , which maybe for say 3 days at the most would have been ideal but 10 days , the term not enough room to swing a cat applied.
Mick

Morning Mick and it’s also dark ‘n dry here in north Wales so off blackberrying later.

How did you dry yourself off each day in Harrogate? Must have been a nightmare!

Have a good day everyone - especially all recovering from ops and illness flowers

vena11 Wed 02-Oct-19 06:45:27

Morning all, dark still at the moment here in Bristol but dry .
Up early for the school run after that an easy day as my DD and 16 month DGS have gone home. My back is aching with lifting him but it was lovely just the same.
I hope everyone has a good day.

Good Morning Mick and those to follow x
Dark, dry but doesn't feel too cold.

I'll bet you were glad for a stretch when you left the " box room " Mick. Why is it just because you're single that you prefer all things small/compact ??

A bit of washing to do first thing then must go to Asda. I'm going to splash out on a jumper---or two by way of a change.

Why am I wide awake at 4am lately. I'm like a hyperactive child ? Yet when I'm asleep I'm dead to the world. Most odd !

Hope everyone has a decent enough day and also hope that Gillybob feels a bit more human as well as those who haven't been so grand of late.

Good morning. Dark but dry as far as I can make out in Northampton this morning.

Thunder and torrential rain yesterday afternoon, glad I didn't do the health walk!

Just got some washing on as it is supposed to be dry and sunny today.

Will go to Sainsbury's at sometime to pick up my winter duvet from the cleaner. May put it on next time I change the bed..

Hope the day goes well for all.

Beechnut Wed 02-Oct-19 06:53:08

Good Morning everyone.

Dry here on Severnside and the sun is just coming up on the horizon.

A home work day to start with and then I might start on my knitting pattern. I’ve not knitted anything for yonks but I thought I’d try and make something for my nieces expected baby.

I hope you all have a good day, especially those of you who have had a rotten time of late ?

NanKate Wed 02-Oct-19 07:00:48

Morning Mick and All.

Cold but clear day here in South Bucks. I bet Mary would say it is mild for Glasgow at 13 degrees.

I agree with Mick being in a confined space can be quite stressful. I bet you are pleased to be back in your own home.

Off for a blood test this morning. Must remember to drink a glass of water before setting off to make sure they can actually get some blood from me. I’m a tricky patient so I’m told ?

Yes do hope Gillybob is feeling a lot better today.

ninathenana Wed 02-Oct-19 07:15:10

Morning everyone.

Dry, bright and breezy in Kent, which is good as I've just put wash on.
Some house work needs doing but that's as exciting as it gets.
Have a good day everyone.

Grammaretto Wed 02-Oct-19 07:18:27

Good morning all from the Scottish Borders. The heating has come on by itself so the temperature must have dropped. Brr sounds ominous and im still in bed!
I'm taking arty crafty things to my bedridden friend today. She had a bad fall. Her DD has told her not to get paint on the sheets! How the tables are turned.

It sounds like a prison cell Mick you must be pleased to be home.

It was the opposite at our Irish hotel. DS had 2 double beds to himself. I think they are used to Americans.

Have a lovely day everyone. Wrap up warm.

Brunette10 Wed 02-Oct-19 07:28:31

Good Morning from beautiful bright Fife, however it is very cold so will have to wrap up when venturing outdoors. Have DGS today since it's Wednesday so will get out for a while. Yes hope Gilly is feeling better. Hope everyone has a good day, chin up for those feeling under the weather.

Lins1066 Wed 02-Oct-19 07:39:51

Good Morning Mick and all, lovely sunrise here on the S Welsh coast.
I have put some sheets in the machine and am now having a cup of tea.
We had a meal out last evening which we enjoyed very much, thought the heavens opened as we drove home.

Hope everyone has a pleasant day and best wishes to gilly and those with hospital appointments and worries. ?

Teal Wed 02-Oct-19 07:44:34

Good Morning from the NE. It’s pretty chilly but a bright blue sky. I’m going to wash the sheets today and get them on the line. My garden is south facing so washing usually dries even in depths of winter. Nothing better than line dried sheets to climb into at bedtime.
DH has an appointment for a blood test this afternoon and I’m off to work.
Hope everyone’s day is a pleasant one.

Marydoll Wed 02-Oct-19 07:44:41

Good morning all from a cold Glasgow, it's only one degree here , Kate! It is positively balmy in your neck of the woods! grin

I have been "out of the game", for a few days, vomitting all ofMonday night and my chest wasn't too good either. I was ready to get out my funeral plan, as I thought the end was pretty near. grin.

We also had our wee granddaughter yesterday and she wasn't too well with her chest either. It was a verrrrry long day!

Sending my very best wishes to Auntieflo and Gilly, hoping they are feeling better.
I shall be having a very easy day. today.

Enjoy your day, whatever your plans.

Alygran Wed 02-Oct-19 07:50:20

Good morning. There’s a lovely blue sky here in North Yorkshire today.
Plumber coming to sort out some bits and pieces. Quick wash on before he comes.
Not much else today so may do a bit of gardening once the bin has been emptied.
Hope everyone has a good day.

Urmstongran Wed 02-Oct-19 07:52:13

Good morning everyone from South Manchester where we have a beautiful start to the day.

No plans for me today so will chill, read, email and ring a couple of friends later. A friend is picking up tickets for us at the Trafford Centre cinema as tomorrow night we want to see ‘Judy’ (Garland) with Renee Zellwegger. Can’t wait!

4 weeks today we fly back to Spain but who’s counting ha!

Hope Wednesday is kind to us all whether we have any plans or (like me) none. Trust you are feeling better today gillybob x

kittylester Wed 02-Oct-19 07:52:57

Morning all from a dry but chilly North Leicestershire.

First day of a new Carer's course this afternoon - assuming I can get out of the village. I love meeting the new participants and always marvel at how resilient they are.

Have a lovely Wednssday everyone.

gillybob Wed 02-Oct-19 08:09:02

Good morning from the NE coast where we have a chilly but bright start and promises of a nice day with temperatures reaching a balmy 12 degrees later!

DH and I both had a slightly better night , we were in my up about 6 times between us which is bloomin marvellous. My chest is still quite painful and the cough is driving me nuts but I’m up and showered and will have to go into “that place” today sadly . My little office will be freezing as it gets no sun and the shutters would have been down since Friday so I think I might need my thermals .

Been thinking about Auntieflo and hoping she had a comfortable night.

To all those feeling poorly I hope your feel better soon and to those with plans for exciting trips and holidays I hope you have the best times.

Have a good Wednesday everyone x

Harris27 Wed 02-Oct-19 08:09:47

Good morning, bright and sunny here in Leicestershire.

Driving through lots of water yesterday afternoon - I haven’t seen floods like it before.

Will go and see my mum today and then Sainsburys.

Hope you are feeling better Gilly and your operation went well AuntieFlo.

cornergran Wed 02-Oct-19 08:15:08

Morning Mick, morning All from a clear, bright corner of Somerset, a very welcome change. Coffee morning and hopefully a visit from the plumber who didn’t make it yesterday. There seem to be a few poorly people this morning, hope you all feel much better soon and Wednesday is kind to everyone.

Susan56 Wed 02-Oct-19 08:23:56

Good morning from a bright and sunny Essex by the sea. I'm off to Leamington today to spend a few days with DD1 and my three lovely granddaughter s. It will be hectic and noisy but as I haven't seen them since July it will be lovely. The three hour journey by
train is the worst bit !!!
I hope that all not feeling well will feel better soon.
Have a good day everyone.

harrigran Wed 02-Oct-19 08:47:35

Good morning from a bright NE.
It must have been very cold last night, I was shivering when I got up for the bathroom during the night.
DH has GP appointment after lunch so not going far today.
Take care of yourself gilly, try not to get chilled.

GrannyGravy13 Wed 02-Oct-19 08:47:54

Goodmorning from a bright and sunny SE Essex.

Off to the gym this morning, then out to dinner tonight with Mr,Gravy and eldest AC who is staying here for a few nights.

Hope your nest clears up gillybob, and it's nearly Friday.

oldgaijin Wed 02-Oct-19 08:51:39

Good morning from dreich, grey Aberdeenshire.

Well folks, Christmas is coming...Tesco shelves are stacked with Quality Street etc., competing for space with the Halloween pumpkins. Whatever happened to neepy lanterns? I blame the Americans.

The mutt will get a long romp in the woodies this morning...he's a bit of a stinker so a wet walk might sweeten him a bit.

Have a good day!
