Good Morning everyone.
A bright start to the day here on Severnside.
Aircon in car all refreshed so I went to the next town down the road to do my shopping yesterday to try it out. I asked at the garage about using all the time and they said yes and it was good in the winter for demisting. Thanks gillybob for spurring me on 5o get it fixed.
And talking of fixing I hope that you are fixed now BlueSapphire with your hot water.
Washing machine on, tidying a room later and then out into the garden for me today.
I hope you all enjoy the holiday weekend ?(a bunch of flowers today as it’s Chelsea)

Good morning Mick and Beechnut and all who follow. I’m an early bird this morning in Malaga. I’ve brought my cuppa back to bed and I can hear the wood pigeons and smell the pine trees by the open window.

No plans again today. This is very restful. I shall start a new book - always a pleasure choosing one.

Hope you’ve got some hot water to get into today (!) BlueSapphire and that you got your toothache sorted by the dentist kitty before you go on your holiday tomorrow.

Hope Saturday is good to us all, whether we have plans or (like me) none. x

Good Morning, I am off on a motorcycle tour today, I will be riding down to the tunnel and across to France, Belgium and Holland. It is a little grey outside, waterproofs I think ?

Traces of blue here in Northampton but not enough to make a sailor a pair of trousers. Do children still know that saying? My dgd looks at me blankly when I use it. Have to get to the supermarket today so plan to go early, then it’s a few chores and a trip to a local country park to scope out their log climbing and crawling area before taking dgd there on Monday. Keeping my fingers crossed that BlueSaphire finally has hot water and that other Gn’s dental problems are sorted. You will now have gathered that remembering people’s names is not one of my talents, sorry.

My dentist was not working yesterday so I had to see another who decided that we'll try to save the tooth by waiting until it can be properly investigated. I might go somewhere else and have it removed today. Your morning sounds lovely.

DH and I went out for lunch yesterday, there was a group of noisy teachers on the next table. I'm sure we weren't as noisy in my day

Glad your a/c is sorted * Beechnut*, my DH has it on during the winter as he is rarely cold, while I sit draped in scarves.

Good morning all from a cloudy Glasgow, we have rain forecast later.

I did manage to go to lunch yesterday, but it was a bit of a disaster.
DH stood up, leant on the table, it flipped and he sent a pint of Guinness and a glass of Coke flying everywhere!!!! ?
You could hear the gasps of horror from the diners. ?
DH was frozen to the spot, while I frantically searched for a totally inadequate packet of tissues! Not good for my BP!!!
To make matters worse, he was wearing a light blue sweater. I'm sure you can envisage the state of his sweater.?
Apart from that I did have a nice morning out.

DD was getting ready for a wedding at our house, whilst we were out yesterday, as of course she needed mum to iron her dress and basically dress her!! (My bag, shawl, jewellery etc ?)
I now remember why I encouraged her to leave home. How can a 35 year old leave such a trail of disater?

DIL has offered to take me for coffee this afternoon, during the cup final, while DH is glued to the TV and DS1 is at the match. Depending how I feel, I may take her up on her offer.

Kitty, I hope you get some relief from your pain. I would love to go to your fleamarket, Mick, hope you have a successful day.

Wow how lovely Scentia Poor you kitty nothing worse than toothache, really hope you get it sortedout. The cloud starting to break up here in letchworth and a glimmer of sunshinewhich bodes well for the Food Festival being held this weekend in town. I will tort off a bit later to have a mooch with my sister who wants to try the artisan bread that is usually sold on one of the stalls. She wants to see if it tastes any different to the fresh bread you buy in a shop!!! lol. I said it will cost her more that is for sure. .We will probably stop for coffee then i must visit the library and do some fresh food shopping. Want to get out in the garden a bit later, time to pull out wallflowers which are now going over and put in my geraniums. Have a great day everyone.

Good morning from sunny North Yorkshire. Finally feeling better after more than a week with ‘tummy trouble’. Visit to the local market today before heading to Derbyshire to see my daughters for the weekend. Helping DD2 with the raised beds in her garden.
It’s 10 years ago today that my Dad died so will be raising a glass this evening.

Morning all, lovely and bright here in Torbay, plenty of blue sky here could kit out the navy? My grandchildren also look at me as though I’m mad when l say that. Grandchildren with me this weekend so must “shake a leg “ and get started on the day. Hope it’s a good one for all.

It's a bright, sunny morning here in SY, still a bit breezy but not quite as much as yesterday at the moment.
General chores this morning - washing out, shopping, etc, then going to friends this afternoon for eats and chat. I think today is meant to be the better day for decent weather over the bank holiday.
I do hope you get your tooth sorted today, * kitty*. Did the dentist not listen when you said you were going away next week?

Good Morning from Fife. It looks as if the sun is struggling to peep it's little head out but I hope it does. Have splitting head today and no I had no wine last night but did have a bad dream. Anyway no specific plans for today will have an easy day I think. Kitty hope your pain has subsided. Marydoll you brought a to my face with your antics yesterday. You are very welcome Beechnut I didn’t realise how much you needed A/C in the car until mine packed in and I was doing school runs on some of the hottest days so far this year. Glad you’ve got yours sorted too.

Sorry you didn’t get to see your usual dentist kitty it would be a shame to lose a tooth that could be saved but the last thing you need is toothache when you are away from home.

Oh dear what a waste of a good pint of Guinness Marydoll . Could have been so much worse though, he could have spilled it over you instead of himself ! It’s nice when our DD’s still rely on us to sort their special outfits out for them isn’t it? And mum always has the right accessories .

I took my dad for his usual second big shop of the week straight from work yesterday and our usual cuppa and toastie. He then wanted to get some new fish for his tank and so we spent an hour in pets at home, which made me long to bring a bunny rabbit home (I didn’t ).

Then off to DD’s to do a few little bits in her new garden which is looking fab . It’s her birthday today and I have got her the usual bag of surprises (she rarely ever gets to treat herself so I go a little bit mad....nothing expensive just lots of nice bits). Lille Evie is loving her new outdoor playroom and bangs on the back door until DD opens it to let her out. I think she is going to be very outdoorsy just like her big cousins.
