Valentine's Day is when some married men are reminded what a poor shot Cupid really is

Being a Newbie, I wasn't here for the last one, so what's the protocol? As far as I remember a Card was sent from a secret admirer; the recipient then spent the day wondering who it could be!
But I never saw the logic of that because there was no chance of receiving any favours for the box of choccies and 12 red roses. grin
Anyway, roses are out in full bloom here and I can just about afford to send you all one red rose each, but no chocs I'm afraid! too many dieticians around. Now who can I invite to the Ball without inviting a slap in the face? wink

I am happy to put your name on my dance card.

What about them? You don't understand Squiffy. I'm putting the point of view of "some" men and I think you see it as light-hearted "bait" judging by your Smiley. grin
Of course you are all free to put forward your own viewpoints/opinions, but please don't ruin my tin hat. I'm not a marriage counsellor!

Teetime; thanks very much; looks as if we're going to have the ballroom to ourselves as we glide the light fantastic.! wink
Not many romantics around though, are there? Must be the weather! Take care!
